This policy describes how Trace Sentinel collects and uses information when you use the service.

Information Collected

We may collect:

• an anonymous session identifier stored in a browser cookie, used to track your free analysis allowance
• billing information for credit purchases, processed by Stripe — we do not receive or store your card details
• the input type submitted (text, URL, image, or file) and the resulting verdict and score, retained as anonymised metadata

What We Do Not Store

Trace Sentinel does not retain the content you submit. Text messages, URLs, uploaded screenshots, and file contents are analyzed in memory and discarded immediately after the verdict is produced. No account is required, and no email address is collected unless you contact us directly.

Use of Information

Collected information is used to:

• track your free analysis allowance and purchased credit balance
• process payments and issue receipts via Stripe
• improve detection accuracy using anonymised verdict metadata

Data Storage

Session identifiers and anonymized analysis metadata are retained for a limited period to support the credit system. Billing records are retained as required by Stripe and applicable law. No submitted content is stored.

Third-Party Services

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. No submitted content is shared with any third party. Hosting infrastructure is provided by third-party cloud providers.

Data Security

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are applied to all stored data. Submitted content never touches persistent storage.

Changes

This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
